The Hall of Fame Superstar has not competed in a match for World Wrestling Entertainment for nearly 10 years but he now has his sights set on a return to competition.
Hulk, 61, has been hitting the gym like he’s getting ready for a world title match and he’s hoping his bosses Vince McMahon and Triple H give him the green light to lace up his boots again and finish his career in the WWE.
Speaking about a potential return to the ring, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I got some advice from a wise man, his name is Vince McMahon and he said, ‘Never, say never.’ I’m back home in the WWE, this is where I started, I’m home and to end the legacy and put the period on the end of the sentence I am training right now like I’m getting ready for the WWE Championship. You just never know when Hulk Hogan is going to tear the house down. It could be any time, it could be anywhere. I am training and getting ready for my last match, my last run or my retirement match. It’s not over until the fat lady sings and I haven’t put the period at the end of the sentence yet.”
The multi-time world champion has been plagued with back injuries in recent years but he insists his physical problems are in the past and he’s currently in fantastic shape.
Hulk added: “My back is straightened out after nine back surgeries, everything seems to be on track and working really well.”
The iconic star is hoping to compete at ‘WrestleMania 31′ on March 29 and he believes he any match could be the start of a more permanent return to active competition.
Discussing a potential bout at WWE’s showpiece event, he said: “If it happened I would want it to be the greatest match of all time, of course … If it’s the end of my career and a huge emotional send-off that would be great, or if it’s the beginning of another huge run for Hulkamania and me chasing the dream of winning the WWE title, that would be brilliant. I’m thinking very positively about getting back in the ring.”
‘WrestleMania 31′ can be watched on the WWE Network – available via subscription at WWE.com for $9.99 per month – which has surpassed one million subscribers just 11 months after being launched.
In a statement, the company’s Chairman Vince McMahon said: “We’re thrilled that we’ve surpassed the one million subscriber milestone less than a year after launching WWE Network and in advance of ‘WrestleMania

SPORT:Luis Figo: Portuguese great makes bid for Fifa presidency

Portuguese great Luis Figo has become the latest shock candidate for the role of Fifa president.
The former Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan forward, 42, joins David Ginola in the race to replace Sepp Blatter as boss of world football's governing body.
Prince Ali of Jordan, Dutchman Michael van Praag and Jerome Champagne are also would-be presidential challengers.
Blatter has been Fifa boss since 1998 and intends to run for a fifth term.
"Football has given me so much during my life and I want to give something back to the game," said Figo.
"I look at the reputation of Fifa right now and I don't like it. Football deserves better. In recent weeks, months, and even years, I have seen the image of Fifa deteriorate.
"As I speak to many people in football - to players, managers and association presidents - so many of those people have told me that something has to be done."

Chelsea boss and compatriot Jose Mourinho

"Luis Figo's candidacy is a great step forward for football. His career over many years grants a better future for Fifa. I believe in his character and determination, as well as his passion for the game. He will be a president focused on football and its general improvement, acting closely with all federations."
All potential candidates have to register their interest in standing before Thursday's deadline.
According to Fifa electoral committee member Dominico Scala, all confirmed challengers must pass an anti-corruption test.
Figo played 127 times for Portugal and won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2002.
He also won the Ballon d'Or in 2000 and was Fifa World Player of the Year in 2001.
In 2000, he made a controversial move from Barcelona to bitter La Liga rivals Real Madrid for a then world record fee of £37m.
Figo was one of Real Madrid's Galacticos, alongside the likes of Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo and Zidane
Figo is married to Swedish model Helen Svedin

Boko Haram trains child soldiers to hit Nigeria

Apparently dazed by the successes of the operations launched by the Nigerian Army against it, Boko Haram militants had resorted to the use of child suicide bombers to hit their targets.
While Nigerians are still grappling with this development, the group has revealed that it is training child soldiers to prosecute its war against Nigeria.
A media organisation associated with the group has published two images which reveal a military training camp for children in North-Eastern Nigeria.
The media organization described by the Long War Journal as the Media Wing of Boko Haram and called, Al-Urwa al-Wuthaqa, shows the children dressed in dark clothing with their heads covered by garments. In one photo, the children are aiming their guns while in another they are posing with the weapons.
The Long War Journal claims that both young girls and boys are present in the photos, while some are holding AK47 assault rifles, others are holding cutouts of weapons.
With this development, Boko Haram joins several other jihadist groups around the world in showcasing training for young children. In 2013, the Turkistan Islamic Party, an al Qaeda affiliated group that operates in Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, and Syria, released a video showing kids training in Pakistan.
The Taliban are also known to operate training camps, including those for suicide bombings, for youth in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Additionally, The Long War Journal has identified several training camps for children in Iraq and Syria.
These camps are run by jihadist groups such as the Islamic State, the Al Nusrah Front, Junud al Sham, and Ahrar al Sham.

BACK TO EBOLA. so many and yet too few

Ebola survivors, Aminata and her 7-year-old son Ibrahim.

By Winnie Romeril, Spokesperson, World Health Organization

Sitting in wintery Geneva, it’s hard to imagine how to describe to my family and friends back home these past three months in Sierra Leone working with the World Health Organization (WHO). As I look through my photos, the most meaningful stories that fill my mind and my heart, and make my eyes well up invariably involve Ebola survivors. To date in Sierra Leone, there are over 2,100 survivors discharged from treatment facilities— each with an “Ebola-free” certificate in hand. So many and yet too few.
The first Ebola survivor I met was a soft-spoken British nurse, Will Pooley, returning post-recovery to Freetown just as I arrived. No fanfare, just a regular guy chatting with friends. He included me in their conversation, as we huddled out of the rain before boarding our boat taxi from the airport to the city. “Oh, you’re THAT Will,” I blurted out, remembering what my WHO colleagues had told me. They were fresh from meeting a roomful of his former patients at the Kenema survivors conference. The survivors asked about Will; they sent their thanks to him for their lives. He was surprised, humbled and visibly touched.  “Ebola is unlike any disease I’ve ever witnessed,” Will recently said about his experience. “Nothing can prepare you for the effect it has on the infected, on their families, and on their communities.”
Abdul was another health worker I had the privilege to meet. He attended a workshop given by the Ministry of Social Welfare with WHO doctors and nurses. Because of the muscle wasting caused by Ebola, Abdul was too weak to return to caring for patients. He was given this opportunity to learn the psychological first aid skills being taught to HIV/AIDS counselors, mental health workers, and others in helping professions. Ebola affected every aspect of society, everyone was stressed, and simple listening techniques could provide support.

Ebola survivors, Mohamed with his three brothers and uncle at the mock” Ebola treatment unit (ETU).

In November, a WHO team arrived from Liberia to replicate their acclaimed “mock” Ebola treatment unit (ETU), where health workers learned from survivors about the challenges they would face in caring for Ebola patients through real world scenarios. In Freetown, I witnessed one group of survivors support and encourage each other, forming a new family out of remnants in the wake of Ebola. They conquered each tragic story of loss with their combined incredible strength.
Despite losing his wife, youngest brother, and father, Mohamed auditioned for parts at the mock ETU with his three surviving brothers and uncle. Hawa, accompanied by her surviving sister and father, raised everyone’s spirits with her youthful laugh and quick smile. They were later joined by Geraldine, an orphan at 16 and the only survivor in her family. Her mother was a nurse and insisted she only had malaria. Geraldine later went on the radio to urge other girls her age to call the emergency hotline: “Don’t make the same mistake I did. Your call for help can save the lives of people you love.” And the unforgettable Fonti, whose wife and both children had died, said to me out of the blue one day while we walked away from the mock ETU: “I’m so grateful for WHO.” “Why?” I asked. “Because this keeps my mind active,” he replied. “To be idle would be too much to bear.”
I spent Christmas Day at an MSF clinic where a mother named Aminata refused to leave the ETU until her 7-year-old son Ibrahim was well enough to be released as well. She spent the days at the ETU caring for all the sick children, not just her own, persuading them to drink lifesaving fluids, take nourishment, bathing them, and calling their families with updates. After Ibrahim’s blood test came back clear of Ebola, Aminata took Ibrahim in for a shower with weak chlorine and then soap and water. They walked out the other side clean, wearing bright new clothes and huge smiles, to applause from all the staff and our WHO team. Best. Christmas. Ever.
Like all things in Sierra Leone those months, the brightest moments were juxtaposed with a blast of reality.  In this case, sirens from one ambulance after another brought new patients to the ETU as Aminata and Ibrahim left the facility.

Ebola survivor, Aminata and Spokesperson for the World Health Organization, Winnie Romeril in Sierra Leone.
Just before leaving Sierra Leone, I met Dr. Felix Sarria Baez, a Cuban doctor, who returned from Sierra Leone after contracting and surviving Ebola. We weaved in and out of Spanish as he described what it took. Quite simply, Dr. Felix willed himself to survive. “I will save my life, I said to myself. If you doubt and feel depressed, the disease will invade your body. It’s important to stay optimistic.” Dr. Felix interspersed details from his life and death ordeal with humorous advice, like, “chocolate is good for Ebola”.
The WHO Executive Board convened this week for a special meeting on Ebola to decide on future response needs.  Ebola survivor and nurse, Rebecca Johnson, spoke before the Executive Board to make sure politicians, administrators, scientists, and doctors stay focused on the human reality of the Ebola epidemic. Rebecca said, “Ebola is not the end of the world. I understand the effects of Ebola from the point of view of a health care provider to Ebola patients and most importantly, from the point of view of a survivor. Ebola can be beaten.”
Through so much loss, Ebola survivors have much to teach us, and it’s our job to listen and learn from their experiences. As WHO Deputy Director General Dr. Anarfi “AB” Asamoa-Bah said to us one night, “It’s not just about numbers, cash, and resources. People’s lives are still at stake, and we must make this meeting count for them.

Get involved - Costa controversy

More of your views on Chelsea's Diego Costa and whether he should be banned for allegedly stamping on opponents against Liverpool.
Tom Adlam: Poor refereeing - Costa should have been sent off. As for Mourinho, he's losing his way with this persecution complex. He may be a great coach, but it's getting harder and harder to respect him.
Agift Chitedze: Skrtel fouled Costa in the box. Should he receive punishment from the FA?

Adam White: Both looked potentially accidental to me, hard to call.
Lu Cardarello Ha. Rodgers condemning Costa but defended Suarez. Couldn't write it!
Killian Danagher: Mourinho says it was accidental but stamping on players 2-3 times isn't accidental. He will cost Chelsea at some stage.

Rihanna & Leonardo DiCaprio: The Promise She Made About Her Body

Are Rihanna and Leonardo becoming more than just a hot hookup? Rihanna made Leo a shocking promise about her body that totally ‘blew her mind.’ HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop!

Leonardo DiCaprio40, is “hitting all the right spots” for Rihanna26. The sexy stars have turned up the heat in their hookups, and the “S&M” singer even made Leo a big promise about her body! HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal all the details.

Rihanna & Leonardo DiCaprio Falling In Love? She Makes Him Promise About Her Body

“Rihanna has always been the type of girl who does whatever she wants, when she wants. She wants a new tattoo on her body, but she’s stuck because Leo asked her to promise him she won’t let the needle touch her body until she falls in love again. She’s a woman of her word and she’s sticking to that,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Of course, Rihanna is up for the challenge, and it’s making her fall for Leo even more — especially because he’s not begging her to fall in love with him.
“He wasn’t possessive and that blew her mind,” our source continues. “She thinks he’s playing some type of mind game with her and she’s intrigued by it. Rihanna loves a challenge, and he’s unlike the dudes in her past, those were boys. This is Leo, he’s something else. He’s hitting all the right spots and I’m not talking between her legs. He’s making her feel good and stimulating her on an entirely different level.”
Oo la la! It sounds like Leo is just the kind of man Rihanna needs! Not only does Leo satisfy her in the bedroom, but also with his wit and charm. So now we face the big question: will Rihanna fall in love with Leo?

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Meeting Rihanna’s Family — She Invited Him To Barbados

Rihanna may even say the L word sooner rather than later! Rihanna reportedly invited Leo to her home in Barbados, as we previously reported, which is a huge step in any relationship!
“Rihanna doesn’t bring a guy home unless she really likes him,” a source told InTouch magazine. “This is a sign she adores him. She’s always thought he was cute. She loves his look, his sweet smile and his little nose.” So cute!

Bruce Jenner & Lamar Odom Break Down In Tears In New Scene For ‘KUWTK’

Lamar and Bruce have always had a tight bond. Putting Khloe Kardashian aside, Bruce and Lamar got together to film a ‘secret scene’ for ‘KUWTK’, and it involved a lot of tears and emotions, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.

With or without Khloe Kardashian, 30, in the picture, Lamar Odom35, and Bruce Jenner, 65, are so tight, that Lamar can tell Bruce anything. Lamar returned to Keeping Up With the Kardashians to film a special scene with Bruce, and got a lot more emotional than expected. HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal what went down!

Lamar Odom & Bruce Jenner Crying On ‘KUWTK': Stars Break Down In Emotional Scene

If there’s anyone who has faith in Lamar for getting his act together again, it’s Bruce, who has always had his back.
“Lamar’s always bonded with Bruce. They’ve got this athletic camaraderie and their bond is tough. Bruce was Lamar’s go-to man when he was going through the darkest stages of his life and struggling to find himself and save his marriage. Bruce never gave up on him,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Bruce shot a secret scene with Lamar for the show. It was an emotional one for both of them,” our source continues. “Lamar cried, and poured out his feelings for Khloe. He told Bruce how embarrassed he was and how he never in a million years meant to hurt Khloe. He told Bruce he’s got nothing — no wife and no basketball career and how he self sabotaged himself.”
We’re so glad Lamar can lean on Bruce for emotional support. While this is heartbreaking for Lamar to admit, it’s great that he’s owning up to his mistakes and wanting to become a better man.
“Lamar asked Bruce to forgive him for what he’d put Khloe through. They hugged, Bruce even got a little emotional,” our source says. “Lamar desperately wants Khloe to see the footage. Lamar wants Khloe to know that he’s jumping through hoops for her and with an undying effort to save their marriage.”

Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian Relationship: Lamar Using Family To Win Her Back

Lamar is going to great lengths to win Khloe back! Not only is he confiding in Bruce, but he’s also using his family to win her back, by having them apologize for treating Khloe poorly.
“Lamar’s basically trying to reinforce to Khloe that not only does he want her back, so does his family,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Khloe brought a lot of love and inspiration to Lamar and Destiny [Odom] when they were together and her absence is taking its toll on Lamar, mainly because he doesn’t know what to expect.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Lamar has changed for the better? Let us know!

RONALDO HAS DONE IT AGAIN

Cristiano Ronaldo has won his third Fifa Ballon d’Or title, fighting off the challenge of Germany’s goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Lionel Messi, who has now been beaten twice in succession by his great Real Madrid rival.
This is the age of Ronaldo, who wept on the podium last year but this time let out a “Yahoo!” and was joined on stage by his son. In a stellar year Ronaldo led Real to their 10th European title and broke the Champions League scoring record with 17 goals across the campaign.
“It’s been an unforgettable year,” he said. “To win this trophy – a trophy of this kind – is something unique, and all I can say is that I want to continue working as I have, and go on to more titles for my mother and my wife – and my father, who is up there looking down on me – and my son.
“I should like to say to all the people of Portugal I never thought I would earn this trophy on three different occasions. I want to become one of the greatest players of all time. This requires a lot of effort. I hope to get there.”
